To assist prospective students in the admission process from recruitment to enrollment. Analyzes transcripts, self initiates reports, processes necessary academic documents for admissions. This position is required to ensure the admissions process is followed for all students.
Essential Duties
Manage and evaluate prospect, conversion, and yield activities for all undergraduate nursing tracks
Initiate and maintain contact with inquiries and applicants to the undergraduate nursing tracks through individual and group interactions
Review and evaluate academic transcripts/qualifications based on criteria set by the McAuley School of Nursing
Manage applications for each stage of the review process
Coordinate interviews and process admission based on admission decisions from the McAuley School of Nursing
Co-present and coordinate monthly Nursing Information Sessions with the McAuley School of Nursing
Review and explain financial aid information to admitted students
Attend and assist with new student orientation as needed
Collaborate with various university stakeholders during the recruitment and enrollment process
Evaluate data from self-initiated and standard enrollment reports to determine actions which will maximize recruitment
Support Assist Associate Director for Undergraduate Recruitment
Assist with day-to-day functions of the Admissions Office and other duties as necessary to support the recruitment efforts for undergraduate nursing
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Some experience in recruitment, sales or counseling preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in recruitment or sales preferred
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Clear verbal and written abilities
Effective public speaker with informative and persuasive speaking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish required productivity goals
Available to work some evenings and weekends
Knowledge working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and ability to learn admissions CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Physical Requirements
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Some evenings & weekends
