This position is tasked with recruiting incoming undergraduate students as part of the overall admissions team. The undergraduate admission counselor is responsible for an assigned territory and for achieving enrollment goals for that territory. He/she provides personalized communication to prospective students, parents, school counselors and others in order to achieve enrollment goals for the assigned territory.
Travel to high schools and recruitment fairs to meet with prospective students;
Communicate on a regular basis via telephone, email, social media, and written correspondence with prospects, applicants, and incoming students to ensure attainment of his/her individual enrollment goals;
Monitor application files to ensure their completion, review admission applications;
Follow up with student pipeline to move them to next steps;
Communicate with secondary school counselors, parents, teachers, alumni, athletic coaches, and other key influencers of prospective students;
Participate in on-campus and off-campus programs hosted by the College to recruit students;
Work with NEC faculty and staff to coordinate recruitment efforts;
Follow guidelines with automated correspondence and published materials as part of total promotional plan for admissions.
Bachelor degree required
Desire to work in an admissions or inside sales environment.
