Director of Admissions will oversee the application and admission processing of domestic, graduate, and undergraduate degree-seeking students. Ensures consistency across application requirements and review processes, including portfolio requirements and guidance, for undergraduate and graduate applicants – domestic and international. The Director of Admissions also ensures consistency and accuracy of merit scholarship awarding and manages the selection and awarding of special scholarships. The Director of Admissions contributes to the development and implementation of enrollment strategies that align with the College’s Strategic Plan and works in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Admissions, Director of Recruitment and Director of Admissions Operations.
Oversee a team of assistant directors and admissions counselors who work with domestic and international freshman and transfer prospective students and applicants.
Set and review weekly communications goals and expectations for the team.
Work collaboratively with Director of Recruitment to support the development of new territories and methods of connecting to prospective students, art educators, college counselors and other influencers.
Train and support admissions counselors on communication channels that will connect them to students, parents and guardians.
Work with Department Managers and academic department representatives to facilitate student connections and visits.
Update and maintain email and SMS templates for assistant directors and admissions counselors
Conduct admission decision reviews and provide objective analysis of application materials to ensure consistency and fairness in admission decision-making.
Prepare reports and communicate progress of recruitment initiatives for undergraduate, graduate and transfer populations.
Propose and implement new event initiatives with Admissions Events team.
Perform final review/evaluation of application materials for graduate applicants; recommending admission decisions and scholarship consideration consistent with institutional policies and practices;
Review and confirm admissions recommendations and admission decisions for undergraduate applicants and ensure consistency across application portfolio reviews and rankings;
Develop and oversee the Admission presentation content and delivery format; work closely with CCS Marketing and Admissions Marketing Communications Specialist.
Support the timely communication and promotion of admissions-related events through various channels on and off campus.
Work closely with the Director of admissions Operations to trouble-shoot student records and application files to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of data and information.
Facilitate and promote the active integration of information across Enrollment Division offices in support of incoming students and their transition from prospective student to enrolled.
Present live online and in person at events about CCS’ programs, culture, campus, return on investment and support systems for students to prospective student audiences.
Work-related travel and presentations in support of the recruitment of students; some evenings and weekends are required.

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 7 – 10 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education enrollment management
Competency in analyzing recruitment-related data and assessing programming activities as part of a strategic enrollment planning initiative.
Excellent leadership and understanding of messaging for various target student populations
Ability to lead by example and oversee training for staff and team of recruitment professionals
Computer literacy: Google Workspace, Excel, Microsoft Office, Power Point are a must; knowledge of Salesforce and TargetX CRM systems preferred; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In-Design) a plus
