Coordinator and Senior Coordinator: Experience in using word processing tools to create and edit documents (i.e. Word, Adobe). Ability to work independently as well as with guidance and supervision. Critical thinking and logic in problem-solving. Ability to apply established protocols to one’s work. Ability to work as part of a team.
Coordinator: Ability to acquire knowledge of principles and processes related to course evaluations, credit processing, and curriculum development. Time management skills.
Senior Coordinator: Working knowledge of principles and processes related to course evaluations, credit processing, and curriculum development. Demonstrated success in admissions, student services, or related higher education fields. Demonstrated initiative in project completion.
Assistant Director: Demonstrated leadership and advanced knowledge of principles and processes for course evaluations, credit processing, curriculum development and management, and meeting needs of both higher education administrators and students. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing a higher education transfer partnership. Advanced knowledge of student information systems, electronic communications, and computer technologies, and ability to learn new related technologies. Skill in identifying and addressing needs related to students with prior college credit. Demonstrated knowledge of managing curriculum sequencing for transfer students. Demonstrated initiative and critical thinking to make decisions, problem-solve and complete projects. Ability to serve in a mentoring role to junior staff.
