Emmanuel College (GA), located in Franklin Springs, GA, invites applications for the full-time position of Admissions Counselor.
The Admissions Counselor will be asked to do the following:
Supervises the tele-counseling program, including weekly training activities, periodic evaluations, incentives, workloads, and output.
Provides daily maintenance of the admissions data base.
Coordinates the tele-counseling program to maintain monthly contact with all applicants.
Insures the completion of all documentation for enrolled students.
Prepares and analyzes weekly and monthly call reports, developing special subsidiary reports as necessary.
Coordinates campus tours for prospective students and their parents.
Assists in the enrollment management training program.
Assists in the preparation and implementation of plans for campus previews.
Charts the daily flow of applications, acceptances, and deposits.
Participates in professional organizations and in personal professional development activities, attending appropriate meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Finally, the candidate should be a committed Christian who identifies with and adheres to the mission of Emmanuel College.
The ideal candidate would hold a Bachelor’s degree (required) and a minimum of two years of experience in student recruitment, admissions counselor, or sales is required. This individual should have excellent oral, written, interpersonal, customer service, organizational and motivation skills as well as be computer proficient.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check (including driver’s history) and drug screen that determines you are able to perform the essential job functions. It is also subject to your providing appropriate documentation to establish your eligibility to be legally employed in the United States.
