The Admissions Counselor is a full-time position that focuses on the recruitment of prospective students, the review of applications, and active participation in yield activities to ensure enrollment of a talented and diverse class. The Admissions Counselor engages with high schools and community colleges in an assigned area and manages the interactions and various forms of communication with students, parents, high school counselors and alumni in that region. On campus, the Admissions Counselor conducts information sessions, confers with admitted students/families and contributes to the success of visitation/recruitment programs.
