For more information, visit www.emmanuel.edu.Reporting to the Director of Admissions Marketing and Recruitment, the Admissions Counselor or Assistant Director (based on experience) will manage an assigned recruitment territory and is accountable for individual performance and achievement of recruiting, admitting, and enrolling qualified students to Emmanuel College. The individual is also accountable for contributing to the overall team enrollment goals of the college and to support the mission of Emmanuel College.Essential responsibilities will include:*Recruit domestic first-year students through attendance at high school visits, college fairs and other in-person or virtual programs (travel necessary).*Build relationships with prospective students through personalized and consistent communications (phone calls, emails, texts, and in-person or virtual meetings) and organize on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.*Responsible for interviewing prospective students, reviewing applications; and making initial admissions decisions.*Deliver public presentations and effectively communicate specifics about Emmanuel College in both small group settings and larger information session presentations.*Participate in additional projects for the office of admissions to possibly include admissions marketing, coordination of travel, planning of yield activities and programs, transfer student recruitment, coordinating of campus visit programs and outreach to school counselors.*Complete special projects as requested by the Dean and Director of Admissions.Our ideal candidate will possess the following:*A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or a related field.*0-3 years of related experience. This position's title will be subject to the applicant's proven work experience and references.*Must have a valid driver's license.*Successful track record of leveraging technology for business or recruitment practices. Experience with Slate CRM is preferred.*Demonstrated interest and commitment to recruiting students from diverse backgrounds.T*his position requires a mix of sedentary work, driving, standing for several hours at college fairs, and the ability to lift marketing or event materials.*This position will require work outside of traditional business hours at different times within the admissions cycle.
