Job Summary:
Guide prospective graduate and international students and their families on the admissions, financial aid, scholarship, and housing processes. Responsible for recruiting graduate and international students, including activities that generate prospects, applicants, and enrollment.

Essential Duties:
Conduct student recruitment activities in the Office of Admissions, such as but not limited to:
Counsel students, parents, and others at various stages of the college search cycle on the admissions process and educational opportunities.
Follow up with applicants with notification of their eligibility.
Compose correspondence to answer inquiries.
Conduct student recruiting at college fairs and events worldwide as directed.
Interview students, parents, and others concerning admissions entrance requirements.
Be knowledgeable of American and foreign transcripts.
Provide applicants with guidance regarding admissions eligibility.
Compose correspondences to answer inquiries of a complex nature.
Counsel with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral prospects to clarify entrance requirements.
Assist applicants with completing and submitting their application materials in an effort for an admission decision to be issued.
Determine eligibility for students with unique admission problems.
May briefly counsel students on financial or housing arrangements, referring undergraduate foreign admissions liaison with other departments on campus.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of experience counseling students in academic and scholastic matters, with a broad knowledge of institutional admission requirements or the equivalent experience.
Ability and knowledge of use for standard office equipment.
Extremely accurate admission and transfer evaluations are required. May require frequent travel for recruiting purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
Detail Oriented.
Ability to multitask in a busy office environment with multiple interruptions, including high volume phone calls and monitoring multiple email accounts.
