Saint Francis University invites applications for a 12 month Admissions Counselor in the Office of Admissions. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of traditional first-year and transfer students into Saint Francis University. The position requires proficient knowledge, understanding, and execution of admissions standards and operations. The position also requires an extensive knowledge of the institution’s programs, services, and processes. The position must fully embrace and promote the unique Catholic, Franciscan mission and identity of the University.
Bachelor’s degree required; some professional work experience is strongly preferred. Additional qualifications include exceptional oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and professionalism; in addition to experience and knowledge of reading/interpreting data and reports, and the use of Microsoft Office suite and working within databases. Must also possess an intense desire to work closely with prospective Saint Francis University students and their families. Extensive overnight travel required with some weekend work. Valid driver’s license required.
