Advertisement: St. Catherine University invites applications for an Admission Counselor position in the Office of Admission in the College for Women. This is a full-time, regular position.

The Admission Counselor will represent the university to prospective students and their families and actively recruit students to enroll in the College for Women.
Responsibilities:
Counsel and advise prospective students and their families about admission to the College for Women.
Review admission applications and conduct interviews.
Cultivate a geographic territory through visiting high schools, attending college fairs, and calling to respond to inquiries and connect with applicants.
Counsel and advise prospective students and their families about costs and financial aid.
Assist with coordination of campus visit programs, including New Student Registration programs, Junior Visit Day, Spring Spotlight and others.
Host small group visits for first year inquiries.
Act as liaison to partners across campus to coordinate recruitment efforts with those departments.
Communicate respectfully and build relationships of trust with people of all cultures and abilities, affirming the worth and preserving the dignity of individuals, families, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to plan and conduct small and large group presentations/programs.
Must be flexible, positive, and team-oriented.
Understanding of and appreciation for the mission of the University.
Genuine interest and/or experience in interacting with a diverse population of students and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in admission, college advising, college counseling, financial literacy or financial education.
This includes experience in counseling high school students on college preparation and affordability.
Experience in Slate, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
