-Establish and pursue annual recruitment market area application and enrollment goals in consultation with Director of Admissions and Chief Enrollment Officer.
-Develop and deliver multi-media communication strategies within recruitment territory including email, phone, texting, mailings and in person communication with prospective students and influencers. -In consultation with Director of Admission, develop and execute recruitment travel plan for assigned territory, including attending college fairs and making high school visits.
-Communicate with Students/Families with Assigned Recruitment Territory
-Create and deliver large and small group presentations at various recruitment events.
-Coordinate and Participate in Office of Admission Programs
-Coordinate and support various admission related programs including but not limited to group visits, open house programs, Mustang Saturday programs, spring, summer, and fall orientation events.
-Report on their assigned recruitment territory to aid in the planning and implementation of recruitment strategies.
-Assist with developing a more robust social media presence for the Office of Admission and continuing the implementation of ZeeMee app.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Evidence of the ability to work independently with little supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior full-time or undergraduate work study experience in a university Admissions Office.
Familiarity with SMSU or a similar institution.
