Description

To represent the institution to prospective undergraduate students and their families while on campus for a visit. This individual with coordinate and assist in all aspects of the Campus Visit Experience within Enrollment Services for prospective students.

• Advise Green Team

o Coordinate annual hiring and training of members

o Lead bi-weekly meetings and arrange professional development opportunities

o Facilitating bond between team members and utilizing Green Team to its maximum potential

• Coordinate and plan Gold Visits

o Receive special visitor requests and coordinate with campus visit staff and campus departmental partners

o Plans all specialized meetings with student and UAB faculty

o Organize agenda, scheduling, communication, and prep for Gold Visitors

• Act as on-campus contact for out-of-state visitors

o Meet with out-of-state visitors as the Admissions Representative

o Present tour talks from group tours out-of-state

o Offer out-of-state specific sessions on special visit days

• Coordinate Interest Sessions

o Organize sessions times each semester

o Work with program managers and campus partners across campus

o Input and oversee sessions within VisitDays

• Assist with events, travel, and social media efforts as needed

To represent the institution to prospective undergraduate students and their families at college fairs, visits to high schools, on campus and off-campus events in a lead capacity, and through regular telephone and email contact.

This position will be located in the Campus Visit Center and will focus on campus visits and tours.

(Hourly Rate: $18.85 - $22.59)
