Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Strategic Initiatives, the Program Coordinator will support recruitment operations within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) and work closely with other program coordinators to complete assignments and tasks. The program coordinator will assist with scheduling and coordinating special events and programs, providing administrative support for international, in-state, and out-of-state recruitment, and create and interpret reports using various systems.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the recruitment team including associate and assistant directors, recruitment coordinators and admissions counselors. Assist with special programs and publications.
Coordinate and schedule meetings and events. Assist with campus, local and virtual recruitment events by managing event registration, securing event giveaways, managing data entry and following up on invitee inquiries.
Manage the travel assistance program for eligible prospective students that visit campus, serving as the primary liaison between families and travel partners to coordinate travel accommodations. Participation with off-campus events may be required at times.
Provide customer service to internal and external customers. Serve as a member of the OUA team by helping plan, strategize and implement policies and procedures.
Provide administrative and backup support for other areas including in-state, out-of-state, international and alumni recruitment. Assist with processing I-20 and DS-2019 Visa Applications for international admissions during peak seasons.
Create, modify, interpret, and present rosters and reports to management using Slate, Business Objects, PeopleSoft Query, M-Pathways, Terra Dotta, and Excel programs for various purposes. Edit reports for typographical errors, organization, style and accuracy.
May create letters and other communications as requested.

High school diploma required.
Two years of professional work experience working in an office setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google collaboration tools.
Working knowledge of Zoom and/or other video conferencing tools.
Experience with or an ability to learn a variety of systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, Slate CRM, and Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVIS).
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal language skills with the ability to represent the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to a broad range of constituents.
Ability to exercise good judgment in handling complex, confidential matters.
Keen eye for detail to detect discrepancies in information, identify and correct errors.
Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work effectively with diverse work styles and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree and experience in admissions or higher education preferred.
Student services experience in a large, decentralized university.
Familiarity with review and evaluation of written material and experience in evaluating educational credentials is desirable.
A basic understanding of programming logic.
