ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR, Office of Admissions, to serve as an admissions officer with a primary focus on admissions research and analysis. Will report ot the director of admissions research and analysis and support the data collection, analysis, and reporting needs of the Office of Admissions. Will administer several online surveys throughout the year; report on research findings to senior admissions leaders to influence admissions policy; review and select undergraduate applicants with a full admissions caseload and actively participate in the admissions selection committee; and engage in one to two weeks of national and local travel to recruit students and meet with alumni/ae, welcoming prospective students and their families to campus, conducting information sessions, and assisting in other recruitment and yield activities as needed.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; excellent public speaking, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment, take initiative, and set priorities; and a driver's license. Salary range: $52,000 - 65,000
Regular evening and weekend work will be required during the academic year. Several weeks of air travel will also be required annually.
Will be eligible to work a combination of in-office days and remote days each week.
