Reporting to the Senior Director of OHIO Online Enrollment, the Manager, OHIO Online manages the day-to-day operations and administrative management for a team of OHIO Online Enrollment Advisors. The Manager will also manage a high volume of inbound and outbound inquiries from prospective students and will provide daily oversight of the OHIO Online undergraduate program application review.
Provides leadership, training, development, mentorship and evaluation for a team of OHIO Online Enrollment Advisors. Assist the Senior Director with day-to-day operations and administrative management. Monitors team performance and identifies areas for team growth and individual development. Monitor enrollment advisors’ interactions to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to prospective students. Ensure enrollment advisors are meeting and exceeding performance goals. Analyze reports related to the day-to-day operations and overall productivity of the team to improve accuracy in forecasts and to drive performance.
Develop strategies for lead management and communication and admissions processes to achieve program, unit and university goals. Produce weekly enrollment reports detailing each stage of the enrollment funnel. Oversee data compilation and analysis related to student recruitment for internal and external reporting. Assist Senior Director of OHIO Online Enrollment in forecasting current and future term enrollments. Initiating and responding to a high volume of inbound and outbound inquiries from a pool of prospective students, applicants and admitted students. Conduct interviews with prospective students to gauge eligibility and interest for OHIO online programs, build and manage active pipeline of leads, communicate with prospective students via call campaigns, emails and other forms of communication and utilize database tools to efficiently track each interaction and the progress of all assigned leads. Communicates OHIO’s values, benefits and differentiating features to prospective students. Listens, probes, recognizes and considers prospective students’ needs to determine which OHIO program is the best fit. Collaborate with the University community in the transition of admitted to enrolled student. Maintain collaborative relationships with campus program departments/units regarding recruitment efforts
In collaboration with the Senior Director of OHIO Online Enrollment, and Admission Operations, manages a team of enrollment advisors responsible for OHIO Online application review and ensures decision are made in a timely and accurate manner. Escalates application or admission operation issues as needed. Evaluate applications and supplemental materials for the purposes of making admission decisions. Conduct thorough, holistic, selective review of an applicant’s candidacy. Determine necessary documentation to support an admission decision and recommends appropriate alternative pathways when admission cannot be offered.
Bachelor’s degree required by start date. Ability to travel independently as needed (intermittent). A minimum of three years of related work experience. A minimum of one year of management experience.
Master’s degree. Ohio residency or within a surrounding region.
