Hampden-Sydney College, founded in 1775, is seeking an energetic, student-centered, and forward-thinking Dean of Admission to help lead the next exciting chapter of our enrollment efforts. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Enrollment, the Dean will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of enrollment efforts, oversee daily operations (which include on-campus and regional recruiters), and foster collaboration across campus. This dynamic and experienced individual will partner with the Vice President of Enrollment and provide leadership to ensure the recruitment, selection, and enrollment of a talented student body.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience in Admissions/College Counseling or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. A Master’s degree and admission leadership experience are preferred. Individual in this role will retain an industry visibility by attending appropriate professional conferences, participating in deans and director programs, and other instances where they have been invited. On campus, the dean will be a visible member of the community. The hiring salary range is $142,000 - $177,500.
