Join our virtual team of former admissions officers! This is a flexible job that fits well with another part-time or even full-time job. AdmissionsCheckup is an online resource that allows prospective college students to have their essays or full applications critiqued by former admissions officers. Students and IECs upload an application, testing, transcript, and essays to our site and up to three former admissions officers provide critiques. Each former admissions officer works independently and evaluates the application based on their own admissions training and background. Comments should be direct, straight forward and honest. Evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of each part of a student's application (application PDF, essays, transcript, testing and resume). Based on your experience as an admissions officer, you will write a critique that will help the student better understand their applications's strengths and weaknesses. The review should be honest, drawing upon your understanding of the admissions process and your time as an admissions officer. It should also offer actionable suggestions that will actually help the student improve their application. Send resume to Feedback@AdmissionsCheckup.com.
You must have worked as an admissions committee member at a four-year college or university, preferably within the last 5-7 years.
