Caldwell University, located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in suburban Caldwell, New Jersey and founded by the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Caldwell, is seeking a Vice President for Enrollment Management to lead innovation and strategy within the enrollment, retention, financial aid, and enrollment marketing functions, offering a compelling vision for the University’s future. Caldwell, a private, Catholic coed four-year university with a strong liberal arts core curriculum, has experienced recent enrollment growth. The new Vice President for Enrollment Management will play a key role in continuing that momentum and achieving the university’s ambitious strategic goals.
COMPENSATION Compensation for the position will be competitive and based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate and the agreed upon portfolio of responsibilities; The range identified for this role is $200,000-$210,000. In this important leadership position, the successful candidate will have an active on-campus presence. QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS It is strongly preferred that the successful candidate will have earned an advanced degree. It is required that they have a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, this role requires a minimum of ten years of leadership experience in enrollment management, or in a similar area. A record of success with innovative recruitment strategies along with a willingness to take creative risks for success is desired. Experience with delivering new first-year and transfer classes, and skilled in guiding in change management, continuously improving all marketing and enrollment processes.
Ability to anticipate and effectively respond to all matters that influence enrollment.
Excellent communication skills combined with strong data analysis and technology skills, ability to motivate staff, and the ability to foster collaboration across all constituents.
